Pre-Licensing Classes



This 60-hour course meets the minimum requirement for Agent or Broker pre-licensing mandatory education as set forth by the CT Real Estate Commission.  Candidates must complete 60 hours of class time before they can take the final exam.  A passing grade of 70% is required for Agent candidates and 75% for Broker candidates. This course will include interactive classroom activities and discussion focused on the following topics: Concepts of home ownership · Contracts · Property Valuation · Governmental Powers · License Law · Taxes & Liens · Real Estate Math & Financing · Fair Housing

Tuition: $385.00 Course fee includes required textbooks.

What does “OPEN ENROLLMENT” mean?

“OPEN ENROLLMENT” means that you may freely enroll in the class of your choice at any time.  Either day or evening, North Haven or Old Saybrook.  Simply fill out the appropriate registration form completely and choose your start date.

There is no sequence that you must take the classes in.  If you miss a class, you will need to go over the missed material at home.  Or, you can try to attend class at a different time/location.

The State of CT does not require that you go over every chapter.  The State of CT only requires that you complete 60 hours of class time.

**Students may not exceed 12 hours of class time in any given week.
