Attorney David Minicozzi has been practicing law since 1988 and began his own practice in 1994. He received his B.A. in political science from the University of Connecticut, and earned his degree in Law from Western New England University School of Law in Massachusetts. He is a member of the New Haven County Bar Association, and a Certified Divorce Mediator. David lives and works in Branford and has been married to his wife Joann for 25 years.
David was twice honored as a Branford Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Year, and received the New Haven Lions Club Knight of the Blind Award and the Melvin Jones Award. He is active in the community and serves in a number of roles in various social, charitable and professional organizations. Attorney Minicozzi operates a full service boutique- style law firm concentrating in the fields of: residential and commercial real estate, personal injury/accident law, wills and probate, and family law. He is available for evening and weekend appointments.
In addition, Attorney Minicozzi handles cases such as worker’s compensation, landlord/tenant law, motor vehicle and criminal matters, corporate/LLC/commercial matters, collections and more. Attorney Minicozzi also volunteers with the local Bar Association’s “Foreclosure Volunteer Program” to assist homeowners who are in danger of losing their homes. He also has extensive Court experience.
